It’s Memorial Day, the day when we honor those who died in wars for America. It started as a Civil War day, but we’ve had an awful lot of wars since then. It’s also the first day of summer in many ways, a more joyful thing to mark.

So I’m taking my first day off from blogging 3+ times a week in over a year. Have a great day, and enjoy the smells and sounds of cow flesh hitting the grill – which is what America is all about.
